Gabriel Furman is an award-winning actor,                               writer, and filmmaker from Queens, NYC. He                               started off as a professional DJ and B-Boy                               (breakdancer) — a craft that got him out of                             the projects and into theatre and film.

He wrote, produced, and starred opposite Academy Award winner Melissa Leo in Mother's Day, leading to roles in And Just Like That (HBO), Law & Order: SVU, and Orange is the New Black. Gabriel's short Wonder — about a boy growing up in the hood who secretly dreams of being Wonder Woman for Halloween — won 21 awards, earned Academy Award consideration, and was licensed by HBO.

He recently directed 2nd Unit for Bobby Moresco (Crash, Million Dollar Baby) on Maserati: "The Brothers," starring Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, and Jessica Alba. CLAUD_IA is his latest short film, now in development as a series at Universal Television with Mariska Hargitay's Mighty Entertainment.
